Early life and background
Janvi Gaur was born into a spiritually inclined family and spent part of her childhood in Dubai after relocating there at a young age due to her father’s professional transfer. She has stated that she exhibited intuitive and psychic sensitivities from an early age.[1]
At the age of fourteen, she discontinued formal schooling, choosing instead to focus on spiritual development. According to Gaur, conventional education did not align with her personal calling, and she began exploring metaphysical practices independently.
Career
Gaur formally began her professional journey in astrology and spiritual consultation in her early twenties. After relocating to Delhi in 2000, she initially focused on vastu-shastra and residential consultations. During this period, she reported experiencing intuitive insights that extended beyond architectural alignment into planetary and karmic interpretation.
By 2004, she had developed proficiency in tarot reading, largely through self-guided practice. She has stated that her approach to Vedic astrology is intuitive rather than academic, claiming to interpret planetary influences directly without reliance on formal astrological training.
Recognition and work
Janvi Gaur’s work gained wider recognition in the mid-2000s when she began advising industrialists, business leaders and public figures in Delhi. In 2006, she appeared in broadcast media providing FIFA World Cup predictions and later featured on radio programs in several Indian cities.
Her practice expanded internationally after relocating back to Dubai in 2007. She has since reported maintaining a global clientele across multiple continents and has also explored comparative systems such as Chinese and Jewish astrology.
Spiritual response therapy
