Arjun Bijlani (born 31 October 1982) is an Indian actor, television host and media personality best known for his roles in popular Hindi television shows including Naagin, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Ishq Mein Marjawan, and Left Right Left. Known for his charming screen presence, versatility, and hosting skills, Bijlani is considered one of Indian television’s most prominent faces.
He has also appeared in films and web series such as Direct Ishq (2016), State of Siege (2020), and Roohaniyat (2022), and recently starred in Prime Video’s Rise and Fall (2025). He is a recipient of multiple television awards, including Gold Awards and Indian Television Academy honors.[1][2]
Early Life and Education
Arjun Bijlani was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into a Marathi-Sindhi family. His father, Sudarshan Bijlani, passed away when Arjun was nineteen. He completed his schooling at Bombay Scottish School, Mahim, and later graduated from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. Growing up in a culturally diverse environment, Arjun was active in dramatics and sports, which helped shape his creative path toward acting.[3]
Career
Television Beginnings
Arjun made his acting debut in 2004 with Kartika opposite Jennifer Winget. His first major breakthrough came with the military drama Left Right Left (2006–2008), where his portrayal of Cadet Aalekh Sharma gained popularity.
He rose to stardom with Miley Jab Hum Tum (2008–2010), in which he played Mayank Sharma. His chemistry with co-star Rati Pandey became a highlight of the show. Following that, he appeared in shows like Mohe Rang De, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, and Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna.
Mainstream Success
Arjun became a household name after starring as Ritik Raheja in Naagin (2015–2016), one of Indian television’s biggest supernatural hits produced by Ekta Kapoor. He continued his successful run with the romantic thriller Ishq Mein Marjawan (2017–2019), playing the dual roles of Deep Raj Singh and Raj.
He has also appeared in Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, and hosted several reality and award shows.
Film and OTT Ventures
In 2016, Arjun made his Bollywood debut with Direct Ishq. His OTT debut came with State of Siege (2020), followed by Roohaniyat (2022), a romantic drama series. In 2025, he appeared in Prime Video’s hit reality-drama Rise and Fall alongside leading Indian influencers and celebrities.
