Abdurozik Savriqul Muhammadroziqi (born 23 September 2003), professionally known as Abdu Rozik, is a Tajikistani singer, boxer, and internet personality. Rising from humble beginnings in Panjakent, Tajikistan, Abdu gained worldwide fame through his unique voice, charm, and inspiring journey from street performer to international entertainer. He is best known for his viral songs Ohi Dili Zor and Modar, and for appearing on the Indian reality show Bigg Boss 16 (2022).

Early life and education

Abdu Rozik was born into a modest household in Panjakent, Tajikistan. His father, Savriqul Muhammadroziqi, was a gardener by profession. At a young age, Abdu was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency (dwarfism), which went untreated due to limited family resources. Despite these challenges, Abdu developed an early passion for singing. He often performed folk and devotional songs in local markets to help his family financially, attracting attention for his soulful voice.

Career

Musical beginnings in Tajikistan (2019–2020)

Abdu’s musical career began when Tajik rapper and blogger Baron (Behruz) discovered him singing in the streets in 2019. Baron convinced Abdu’s father to allow him to pursue music and brought him to Dubai, where he received proper training and exposure. His Tajik songs like "Ohi Dili Zor", "Chaki Chaki Boron", and "Modar" gained immense popularity across Central Asia.

International fame and Indian debut (2021–2023)

In 2021, Abdu went viral on YouTube and Instagram after releasing a Tajik cover of "Enna Sona" by Arijit Singh. His adorable charm and powerful vocals earned him a global fanbase, especially in India. In 2022, he performed at the 22nd IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi, dedicating his performance of "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga" to Salman Khan. The same year, he joined Bigg Boss 16, where his innocence, wit, and positivity made him one of the most loved contestants of the season.

Following his Bigg Boss fame, Abdu became a household name in India, collaborating with multiple influencers and appearing in talk shows and digital campaigns.
